A number of us met up at Riley's Brew Pub with coffee in hand and made our way to Mar-Vals Deli in Prather before convoying up to Alder Springs Rd and down into Jose Basin. There is still some damage from the storms this year including a washed out section of Basin Rd (9S07), but you can make your way around using 9S08. We eventually linked up with Old Railroad Grade Rd (8S08) and made our way up to the waterfall at Mill Creek where we enjoyed our sandwiches from Mar-Vals. Afterwards we made our way towards the rock outcroppings underneath the power lines for some light rock crawling. Eventually it was time to air back up and head out Jose Basin Rd towards Auberry Rd and 168 home.
